ABOUT
Bestday Care is a high-quality preschool that offers care for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our unique hybrid curriculum has a creative curriculum core with a strong Montessori influence. We incorporate all of the Montessori principles into our lessons, while still preparing our students for kindergarten success. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our kids. Through stimulating learning environments and hands-on learning opportunities, children are free to develop into bright young minds. Our teachers are passionate about early childhood education and it shows through their love and adoration for their students.

OUR EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Montessori Influenced Creative Curriculum
Our curriculum is centered around Montessori key concepts and principles with a focus on the thematic elements of Creative curriculum. This allows us to focus on the Childs individual development while mastering learning goals as a group. Children are given the freedom to explore their prepared learning environment, allowing them to experiment with materials and build meaningful relationships with peers. We emphasize independence by implementing child-led, self- directed lessons with guidance from teachers knowledgeable in child development.
STEAM
At Bestday Care we incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) within all of our daily lesson plans. Each classroom takes part in taking care of our school's garden and coop. They will plant, water and weed each week while tracking the progress of their vegetables and flowers. They then get the joy of eating the vegetables they grew!
IMAGINATIVE & CREATIVE PLAY
We encourage our young learners to use their creativity and imaginations as often as possible. By providing opportunities for child directed, hands on lessons children are free to explore new materials, allowing their individual creativity to flourish!

OUTDOOR PLAY
Our large playgrounds are 80% covered, allowing us to provide outdoor play each and everyday regardless of the weather. The two playgrounds are split by age with our toddler playground accommodating 2 year old's and younger.
SECURE FACILITY
We have a secure facility that requires an access code to enter the building and a release button to exit. We have cameras in every classroom and playgrounds with ability to playback footage.

EXTRACURRICULAR
Our students will have the opportunity to get out and be with their friends during and after hours. We have opportunities such as TGA Sports, Soccer Shots, Water Days, Fall Festivals, Bike Days, Trunk -or- Treats, Parents Night & Day Outs and much more!
